• Expert 2000 Side-loading Truck

  quipment Labrie Ltd./Lte. manufactures 'Expert 2000' side-loading trucks which have been adapted so that they can be operated by only one person during the collection of garbage. This person drives standing up, on the right side of the cab, and then gets off to collect the garbage; next, he or she sorts and loads the garbage into containers located along the right side of the truck. The left-hand drive remains stationary; it is used when the waste is transported, after it has been collected. The Expert 2000 can also be used for the collection of residential waste held in wheeled containers. This vehicle is therefore equipped with a container lifter which dumps the waste into a loading hopper, requiring no effort on the part of the operator. The container lifters can unload wheeled containers of 120, 240, 360, 600, 700 and 1, 100 L. Finally, the Expert 2000 was designed in order to ensure that the operator works in complete safety. In fact, since the operator is alone and drives on the right side of the vehicle, he or she is not subjected to injuries which could be caused by another vehicle coming from in front or from behind. Moreover, an operator working alone need not worry about the clumsy behaviour of co-workers.

  The large load capacity of its hopper allows the Expert 2000 side loader to be fitted with an all new retractable arm that the operator may use to collect waste automatically or manually. COOL HAND handles all types of containers without dammage. COOL HAND may also be installed on conventional cabs and chassis.

  The arm reaches 2.8 metres, carries up to 225 kg, and retracts in 8 seconds.
