We have the expertise and equipment to weld and tap into operating high pressure oil and gas pipelines without impacting flows or pressures. We specialize in solutions for companies that cannot tolerate a system shut-in or shut-down or require innovative solutions for interconnecting newpipelines to operating systems.

We have the capability to install hot tapped assemblies up to 914mm in diamater at pressures up to 2, 220 psi (153 bar). We can provide a solution for welding on pipelines operating at full pressure and flow in almost all possible scenarios. Our quality management program ensures success on all of our projects.

Management team has successfully completed more than 300 large diameter (i. e., >300mm dimeter) hot tap projects without injury or incident - most of them with ZERO interruption to pipeline services. Have also managed the first inline installations (3) of multipath (3 pairs of transducers) ultrasonic gas measurement meters on 1, 000 psi operating pipelines.

Proj: ENAP 2002 Expansion Country: Chile Contribution:

ENAP is the nationally owned pipeline in Magallanes province (Patagonia) and needed to expand its pipeline system without causing any impacts to the giant methanol plant that was taking over 90% of its gas deliveries. We provided the design, project management, QC/QA and installation expertise to complete the project (a 300mm diameter hot tapped assembly on a 460mm diameter pipeline operating at 1, 200 psi (82 bar)) while meeting ENAP's risk management expectations.
