Westnofa of Canada was founded in 1957 and became a member of the A&K Group of companies in 1992. The company produces a number of standard lines of quality contract hardwood furniture in addition to custom furniture to meet the end user's specific requirements. We have been awarded a number of national and regional awards over the years for developing designs for the healthcare market. That market includes hospitals, nursing homes, and personal care facilities. All products including custom designs are engineered on a CAD system (computer aided design) which is integrated with the production equipment. We can produce almost any hardwood species, use most plastic laminates or man made surfacing materials on the market today, and custom match stain finishes. Production is based on a project oriented system and suited to medium and large runs. Shipments to the United States continue to form the majority of export sales and marketing efforts. Additional sales of North American designed products for large projects in Japan and Western Europe would be desirable.
