As part of the global Wartsila network, we can supply various reconditioned components from our Exchange Pools around the world.

Babbitt Bearings
Wartsila Canada has been re-metalling Babbitt Bearings since 1920 and are currently housed in a 60, 000 square foot facility devoted to the reconditioning of components such as Babbitt Bearings. Some of our largest Babbitt clients include B. C. Hydro, Lafarge Seattle and Lafarge Canada, Thompson Creek Mining to list just a few. Machining capacities range from the smallest bearings to Ball and Trunion Bearings with diameters of up to 90 inch bores. As an ISO 9001: 2000 certified company we have full traceability and accountability using U. T. testing and third party inspection to confirm bond and machining requirements are met. We are the largest facility for the manufacture and repair of Thrust, Generator, Crankpin and Main Engine Bearing shells in Western Canada. Further to this Wartsila Canada has its own Logistics department to handle all cross border shipping and brokerage concerns to simplify the transport for our customers.
