Visions En Route Consulting, are leaders in providing education and supporting health care professionals across Canada, United States, and World wide through distance education programs, pre-employment classroom sessions and education events in the areas of housekeeping, laundry and Dietary.
Since 1997 Visions En Route Consulting has taken a serious look at the trends in health care and the challenges the industry faces in the delivery of housekeeping, laundry and Dietary services.
Visions En Route Consulting has committed itself to addressing these challenges by providing quality education designed from a health care perspective, with the focus on the needs of the front line worker and the necessary technical skills required.
The Company's primary activities have been around the delivery of three correspondence programs, Fundamental Housekeeping Methodology and Fundamental Laundry and Linen Methodology and Fundamental Food Service Worker Methodology.
Fundamental Housekeeping and Fundamental Laundry and Linen Methodology and Fundamental Food Service Worker Methodology have assisted many Managers, in multi-disciplinary positions, by providing the technical skills necessary to provide housekeeping, laundry and dietary services. In addition, the programs have assisted workers and organizations to Improve Quality, Develop Policies and Procedures, Establish Standards, Train the Multi-skilled Worker, Develop Self-Directed Work Teams and contribute to worker safety.
The programs form the basis of a Continuous Quality Improvement Program, assists in meeting accreditation standards and contribute to Infection Control through effective practices and procedures.
Ongoing education and knowledgeable workers are essential for the protection of the public, worker safety and to respond to ongoing challenges and demands the industry is and will be facing.
These courses are correspondence only and are widely used across Canada and parts of the U. S. A and are now avalible outside North America.
Courses are recognized by the British Columbia Association of Institutional Laundry Managers (BCAILM) and is a pre requisite for certification with the Saskatchewan Association of Support Services.
Our program lessons on Infection Control have been reviewed by The Laboratory Centre for Disease Control, Health Canada for accuracy and interpretation of the new guidelines.
Our programs are listed on the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) website.
