stacking and unstacking; marking and labelling; testing and inspection, and insert loading of horizontal and vertical machines. Currently working on mould spraying and mould-chasing applications. Ventax designs and builds its automation on a customer-specific basis; all design and manufacture is done in -house at our facility in Ayr, Ontario.

Company is a member of the Society of Plastics Industries (SPI), and the Robotics Industries Association (RIA).

From the beginning of operations in 1984 through to the present, Ventax has made the plastics industry the main focus of their efforts. Years of experience and a keen understanding of injection molding, blow molding, and extrusion allow the company to provide superior solutions that have been engineered specially for the dynamics found in the plastics industry. The company has also branched out into non-plastics material handling and processing applications based on their proven robotic systems. Ventax has provided Robotic and Modular Automation Systems to a large number of companies, including a significant number of fortune 500 customers

A Simple Design Philosophy

Ventax believes in a modular approach when assessing, designing and building automation systems. This means that overall processing problems are broken down into more manageable steps. The best possible techniques and the latest in technology can then be applied to handle the specific process requirement including the integration of specialized equipment manufactured by others. The resulting processing modules can then be fully integrated with overall material handling and controls capability making the resulting system very cost effective and flexible. Customers that provide fully defined manufacturing requirements can then purchase initial systems with the added ability to integrate additional modules over time. This reduces the up front capital requirements to begin the automation process while maintaining overall integration, reliability and ease of use of the system. By working together with their customers, Ventax has proven that their Modular Automation Systems can meet or exceed expectations.

Exceptional Service and Reliability

Service is often the single most critical factor in maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The process starts at Ventax with the thorough testing and run-in of all equipment prior to shipment, which ensures the integrity of the system and that all customer parameters have been met. Once on site, equipment is fine-tuned to meet expectations and is accompanied by tailored training, comprehensive operator manuals, recommended spare parts lists and a parts and service warranty for the first year of operation. Regular service support includes a 24-hour hot line for emergencies, a full team of experienced technicians for onsite requirements, additional training for maintenance and trouble-shooting as well as preventative maintenance programs to keep systems in top operating condition. Ventax recognizes the critical nature of full service capabilities and is committed to maintain a high level of support for the full life of their systems.

Customer Focused Partnerships Ventax believes in strong customer partnerships and the focus that these close relationships give to their design and development efforts. By combining customer needs with innovative solutions, Ventax can provide high-performance cost effective automation systems that will significantly improve operational efficiencies and profitability. This is a critical success factor for companies looking to grow in today's global markets and maintain their sustainable competitive advantage.

Quality Commitment

Quality is the foundation for all Ventax systems and is critical in meeting the high performance standards the company strives to attain. From the heavy-duty steel beam construction of their robots to the latest in pneumatic and electrical systems, Ventax provides the best possible quality ensuring the superior performance, service life and reliability that their customers have come to expect. As a testament to this philosophy many of the systems, which where built in the 1980's and 1990's, are still running successfully today with full support from the company.

Robotics as the Basis for Efficient Material Handling and Cell Integration

Ventax recognized from the beginning that robotics were the key link to significantly increasing production efficiencies and lowering operating costs for their customers. This is why robotics have remained the main focal point for the company and are used as the basis for developing most of their automation solutions. By combining unique design, the latest in high- performance electrical controls and the best components, Ventax robotic systems provide superior performance and value. The new Viper Series has been introduced recently and features a revolutionary synchro-link arm design (patent pending). This key development has the benefit of reducing the cost of the robot, minimizing the operating footprint of the machine and allowing for precision handling with intrusion times as low as 0.6 seconds. In addition to new developments, the company's linear robots have been streamlined and upgraded with the latest technologies ensuring that these well-proven machines can meet indust! ry leading parameters and continue to outperform the competition. Whether it's the revolutionary new Viper or the high-performance LS series Ventax has the right robotic solution for their customer's needs.
