Pyrotenax's 900 Series DigiTrace heat trace controllers are designed for both new installations and retrofit applications. The units are compatible with mineral-insulated, constant wattage, and self-regulating types of electric tracing and monitors all important trace parameters, including temperature, voltage, current, resistance and ground fault levels.
The 910 Controller provides control and monitoring of one heat trace circuit and offers a full complement of features. Highlights include single point operation, communications capability, choice of output devices, integral operator console, and more.
The 920 Controller providess control and monitoring of up to two individual heat trace circuits and offers a full complement of features. Highlights include single, dual or multi-point operation, modular plug-in design, choice of output devices, universal design, detachable console, and more.
The built-in features of our MI cable make it ideal as a permanent installation. It is moisture proof and virtually indestructible, yet flexible so it can be formed easily by hand and can be shaped to fit any location. All accessories are available to make installation of a complete heating cable system faster and easier. Applications include: SNOW & ICE MELTING (bridges, ramps, sidewalk, driveways, roof and gutter/downspouts, etc.) FREEZE PROTECTION (pipes, pumps, process pipes, tanks, etc.), FLOOR WARMING (schools, day care centres, churches, homes, animal pens, etc.), HEAT TRACING (valves, tanks, pumps, pipes, etc.). A computer design program for selecting your Heating Cables is available free of charge. Ask your Pyrotenax representative for a copy of our 'PyroHeat' software.
Pyrotenax MI Thermocouple Cables are used in the manufacture of temperature measuring instruments such as Sensors and Probes. These devices are used in a variety of temperature measurement applications such as in the food industry, automotive, aerospace, mining smelters, etc. Cables are manufactured to meet the highest standards possible.
Developed to meet the need for a fire-resistant cable that would continue to function during a fire, our MI electric wiring cables were given a 2-HOUR FIRE RATING by Underwriters' Laboratories of Canada. The tests conducted by ULC also confirmed zero flame spread and no smoke development. This means that in a fire, our cables will continue to work for a minimum of 2 hours, providing valuable time for emergency situations (e. g. evacuation). Applications include: CRITICAL CIRCUITS (Petrochemical plants - alarms, valves, shut-down sequences, etc. will keep on functioning), LIFE SAFETY SYSTEMS (High-rise buildings - emergency power, fire pumps, firefighters' elevators, fire alarms, voice communication, emergency and exit lighting, sprinkler, etc.)
