TRI-WAY is fully integrated producer of special design metal removal equipment, with an innovative in-house proposal and design staff. The modern climate controlled plants are complete with high bays, wet decks, separate sub-assembly and final assembly areas. We are dedicated to providing our customers with reliable machines and systems that will meet production requirements and quality standards.
Our specialized machines are in production worldwide with satisfied customers in Germany, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States of America. Our company has designed and built new equipment and retooled machinery for General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Hayes-Dana Corp., TRW, Caterpiller Tractor and many other customers.

This attitude has driven TRI-WAY to be one of the largest manufacturers of metal cutting machinery in North America.
TRI-WAY MACHINE LTD. was incorporated in the Province of Ontario, Canada in May of 1977. The company commenced operations with a staff of 16 in a 3, 500 sq. ft. rented building in Windsor. TRI-WAY moved into its own 12, 000 sq. ft. plant at 6555 Hawthorne Drive, Windsor in January of 1978. Our company staff increased to 33. The new plant was designed for expansion and was doubled in size within one year.
TRI-WAY then pursued a vigorous program of controlled corporate growth. As new sales thresholds were passed, staff was added and the plant expanded. In 1980 employment reached 80. By 1982, TRI- WAY had 70, 000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space. Another expansion in 1984 increased floor space to 100, 000 sq. ft., and employment to 130. The U. S. Sales and Engineering office was also established in Troy, Michigan to maintain close business and technical contact with our major U. S. customers. By 1994, TRI- WAY has expanded in excess of 181, 600 square feet of manufacturing space in Windsor, and in Sterling Heights, Michigan. We currently employ over 190 people.
