Transforma developed a policy decision-making framework for broadscale commercialization of Canadian products and technology.
The PSTO (Policy, Strategic, Tactical, Operational) framework provides a robust and practical tool for Industry Canada and the Industry Portfolio in their quest to elevate Canadian industrial productivity and competitiveness.
The three key messages of the work are:
(1) Commercialization can and does happen at different positions in the value chain, which do not require technology.
(2) Mid-size enterprises control most of the levers for successful commercialization.
(3) Collaboration with universities and employing government supports is of secondary importance to successful commercialization.

Press Release July 2004, OTTAWA, CANADA Transforma wins prestigious contract to supply the Government of India support services for the Andhra Pradesh Broadband Project valued at over USD 200 million. 'This project aims to create a broadband network connecting 25, 000 villages with e-governance and private sector applications and to lessen the digital divide in Andhra. Provided high-level management consulting to Managing Director and General Manager of Andhra Pradesh Technology Services, a Government of India enterprise, as well as procurement services.
Transforma also assisted in developing the project and promoting the project in a dozen countries.
