The Solar Group Inc. We are a leading company in the window cleaning, anchor and building exterior maintenance. Solar also won the BOMA Pinnacle Award in 2002/2003 for excellence in customer service.

The Solar Group Inc. has been cleaning windows and servicing buildings professionally for over 30 years. Our trained staff cleans numerous sites in the GTA including the CN Tower, Scotia Plaza, BCE Place, The Consillium among others.

Solar has a Joint Health and Safety Committee with 5 members who are trained upto level 3 by the CSAO (Construction Safety Association of Ontario). We have a WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) Train the Trainer at our shop who trains all our employees on WHMIS. Our employees are also trained for CPR and First Aid by one of our employees who has been certified to provide this training by the EMS services Canada.

• Caulking, Glazing
  • WINDOW CLEANING AND RESTORING:

  We maintain the exterior envelope of a building. We specialize in cleaning atriums (hard to access areas).

  • ANCHOR INSPECTIONS AND RETROFITS:

  We work with HITE Engineering. We are able to do major retrofits eg: Brush, paint, deform threads, change pins etc. We will take responsibility for safety and roof anchors on your behalf. We will adhere to Ministry of Labour regulations. We will maintain records of all roof blueprints on your behalf.

  • GLAZING:

  We provide a glazing logbook:

  A) All types of glass on the building with specifications

  B) Where to purchase the glass and how long the order will take

  C) The customer should understand the square footage of glass on site and also have a good idea of price per sq. foot.

  D)Preventative Maintenance Program for Doors

  E) Know the supplier for the type for glass that is required

  • SNOW CLEARANCE:

  We currently do snow clearance. We have expanded in this division including snow removal and parking lot clearance.

  • EQUIPMENT RENTAL:

  We have the capability to rent equipment to our customers at better rates. We specialize in assisting engineers when they need to check certain walls. We will rent staging and rig and derig to move the equipment to other areas of the building.

  • CAULKING:

  We provide competitive quotes for any caulking jobs.

  • PAINTING:

  We provide competitive quotes for any painting jobs. We also undertake electro-static painting jobs.

  • METAL CLEANING:

  We do metal cleaning and some metal restorations. We do not use harsh chemicals and our chemicals are environmentally friendly.
