The Student Services Division of York University invited The PIng Way to conduct a divisional wide team building program after several departments merged into this one big division, and most of them moved into one centralized building.
The objectives of this team building program were to get people to know each other, understand the functions of different departments and facilitate organic connections and relationships and cooperation between these departments to help effectively realize the new division's mission and goals.
We designed a team building program with experiential activities and personality discussions to facilitate personal growth as well as cross-department teams and divisional development, to meet the objectives.
Our success in achieving these objectives were measured by participants' learning and progress. We scored 8 out of 10!
'This was a great session informative, fun very helpful in helping our team get to know each other! Your energy and enthusiasm as a facilitator made this a huge success for us. -- Liz Riach, a director of Agriculture and Agri-food Canada
