Established in 1930, Standard Knitting Ltd. is a manufacturer of men's and women's knitwear, including outerwear and sportswear. Standard Knitting manufactures its own brand wear, the most widely recognized of which is the men's line under the 'Tundra' label.
All products are manufactured in the Winnipeg factory, which houses a full complement of the most advanced flat and circular electronic knitting equipment available. Standard Knitting uses only the best grade materials including mercerized cotton, 70's quality Merino wool, cashmere, silk, linen and various blends.
Its largest market outside Canada is the United States where it operates through a wholly owned subsidiary, Tundra Knitwear Ltd. Standard Knitting also exports to Europe and Japan.
