Strescon is certified by the Canadian Standards Association(CSA)and the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI)and also holds a Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB)division1 certification. Strescon is a member of the Ocean Steel and Construction (OSCO)group, the Canadian Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (CPCI), the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI), the New England branch of PCI, the American Concrete Pipe Association and the Atlantic Provinces Ready Mix Concrete Association. Strescon has manufacturing plants in Saint John New Brunswick and Halifax Nova Scotia. Strescon manufactures a complete line of precast/prestressed concrete products including concrete pipe. Strescon is also a supplier of ready mix concrete. Strescon has won awards for excellence in Architectural Precast Concrete from PCI and ACI and a Grand Achievment Award from the Maine Quality Initiative Steering Committee. Strescon fabricated, supplied and installed over 6000 tons of precast concrete products for the Stora Forest Industries paper machine building in Port Hawkesbury N. S. Strescon is also supplying over 400 prestressed concrete girders for the Atlantic Expressway between Moncton N. B. and Fredericton N. B.
