Streit Manufacturing, Inc. is a world leader in the manufacture of custom designed armored vehicles and limousines. We are the ONLY armoring company in North America to be recognized by Ford Motor Company as an official second-stage manufacturer of their products, thus allowing us to extend vehicle warranty coverage to our Ford line of vehicles anywhere in the world that they have available servicing. However, we do not limit ourselves in any way to a single vehicle manufacturer, and are capable of converting any vehicle the client/agency chooses, providing the vehicle is available on the market, and can accommodate the additional weight of the armoring materials.
Streit Manufacturing, Inc is also ISO certified, which assures the client/agency that our production and administrative methods meet or exceed world standards for this industry. The company has, in recent years, expanded its activities to include sales of vehicles for a myriad of uses for the private sector of the United States and Canada, as well with the U. S. and Canadian governments and the United Nations. Law enforcement and light military vehicle purchasing agencies are also a potentially strong market for our products, and we welcome all inquiries from this, or any other, sector.
Located in the Greater Toronto area of Ontario, Canada, we manufacture vehicles for a wide range of uses worldwide including, but not limited to, CSI units, cash/evidence transport, prisoner escort, and personal security. We currently employ a staff of over forty highly skilled craftsmen, each of whom has gained several years of experience within the vehicle armoring and manufacturing fields.
Our main facility and head office, located in Innisfil, Ontario spans approximately 25, 000 sq. feet, and is fully equipped for the manufacture of vehicle frames and bodies. In addition to this, we have mechanical and electrical staff on hand to build and service any engine or powertrain configurations necessary for our products to function as they were intended. Our limousine and luxury vehicle division, also operated from the Innisfil location, is fully capable of manufacturing and installing vehicle electrical components and any upholstery or interior finishing necessary to complete a vehicle from the finished exterior stage of production. These capabilities are relatively unique in a single company, and are of great benefit to potential clients as they allow us to build complete vehicles while minimizing the need for any sub-contracting. Within this facility, our vehicle armor conversions and general body part fabrications are completed with the utmost attention to quality and detail.
In addition to our production capabilities is our in-house design and engineering department. The companys chief mechanical design engineer and a company director, Dr. Anton Stefov, works closely with our CAD/CAM technicians, engineers, and sales staff in order to ensure that each vehicle is designed to suit the clients particular specifications for use. While this is the primary focus of Dr. Stefovs position, he is also responsible for ensuring that the vehicles maintain their structural integrity and intended level (if any) of ballistic protection, while appearing as unobtrusive as possible. The end result of this personalized attention is a vehicle which has only the slightest noticeable differences to that of a standard OEM production unit.
