SolVision is a private Canadian company founded in 1994. SolVision is selling high performance automated visual inspection equipments to ensure 100 percent top quality control in microelectronic and microcomputer industries. The head office is located in the hearth of the industrial park of Longueil, Quebec, Canada, from which are based the R&D, production and marketing teams. SolVision has developed many products through R&D and industrial projects with prestigious clients such as Intel, Ibiden, NTK, Micronas, Micron, SamSung, Shinko, Hioki, IBM, Pratt & Whitney, Viasystems and C-MAC. SolVision's growing full time staff of over 60 specialists is complemented by experienced visual inspection researchers and consultants, on a product line basis. PRODUCTS INFORMATION

SolVision creates and manufactures automated visual inspection equipments for:

• Bumps inspection, in the fastest growing section of our industry

the flip chip process requires inspection of bumps in both 'Wafer' and substrate market. Our metrology can meet the most challenging inspection requierment of that market segment toward the Precis 3D and the T3 inspection machines.

-OEM, this product line is there to serve our customer who wish to combine the mechanical inspection using our vision and the electrical performance of the product into one existing handler.

• Ball Grid Array's presence-absence, offset, pitch, diameter,

compactness, coplanarity and height conformity

• Printed Circuit Board's thickness, circuits and hole

conformity

• Lead coplanarity and width conformity
• Column Grid Array presence-absence, offset, pitch, diameter,

compactness, coplanarity and height conformity

• Real time inspection for ammunition manufacturing conformity

All our equipments are tailored to target as up to 6 sigma.

SolVision products include Precis 3D, T3, OEM line, BGAPro 2D and BGAPro 3D, TMS 2000 and TMS 3000 (Thickness Measurement Systems), CircuitPro, HMS 5000 (Hole Measurement System), CLIS (Coplanarity Lead Inspection System), CCGA 2D and CCGA 3D (Column Grid Array), and AmmunitionPro.

The inspection systems memorize visual information, diagnose information and compile statistics data in order to correct production defaults. The operations are user friendly.
