1 and 2 passenger electric boats. Maneuvering the boat is achieved by controlling the amount of power applied to the port and starboard motors. The expediency of this system eliminates steering linkage, thereby, drastically reducing maintenance requirements.
The boats can cruise approximately 8 hours at 6 mph before batteries will require charging.
There are presently two models: the Sea-Thru 1, a single passenger and the Sea-Thru 2, a two passenger model. The single passenger model sells for $2, 695 Canadian, and the two passenger model sells for $3, 795 Canadian. The company will benefit from the current US exchange rate. Product:
One passenger - 9' long, 44" wide, powered by 2 electric motors.
Two passenger - 10' 6' long, 57" wide, powered by 2 electric motors.
Both boats have 4 batteries and built-in deep-charge battery charger. Approximate weight of the two passenger boat is 400 lbs, which can easily towed by a small vehicle. Key accessories include: glass window, boat cover, lifting bar, salt water motors, bimini top (2 seater only), extra battery or storage box (single seater only).
