Schleese Saddlery Service has been established in Canada since July 1986, at which time their certified master saddler was asked to come from Germany to be the official saddler for the World Dressage Championships. Schleese Saddlery experts have a combined experience of more than 50 years European training as saddlers. In 1990 the trade of saddlery became registered and certifiable in Ontario due to the combined efforts of the company and the Ministry of Skills Development. In an art exclusive to Schleese Saddlery Service, the firm manufactures full- custom English saddles for all disciplines, and are proud to include both Canadian and United States national team members among their clientele. The endorsement of the Schleese Saddlery line of dressage saddles by the German professional dressage champion has opened the doors for export to Germany- a major coup for any saddlery company since everything of quality has traditionally come from Europe. Export sales have risen to over 80 percent of revenues. The company has since incorporated in the US.
