Saft's reputation for performance and reliability stretches back to 1944. A subsidiary of Saft S. A. in France, a member of the Alcatel Group, Saft designs, manufactures and supplies a complete range of uninterruptible power supplies, battery chargers and rectifiers to ensure quality electrical AC and DC power to the industrial and telecommunications sectors. Saft also distributes vented nickel cadmium batteries to provide the most reliable energy storage device.

The Canadian head office includes 72, 0000 sq. ft. of manufacturing, engineering, office and warehouse space. In addition, Canadian sales and service offices are located in Calgary and Montreal.

Export sales represent approximately 55% of total sales and are distributed worldwide through Saft subsidiaries or local representatives. Many products sold domestically are in turn exported.

All Saft products are CSA and/or NRTL/C approved and are manufactured within an ISO9001-1994 certified quality program.
