www. suncast. ca Plastic Parts Research Inc. is a new company dedicated to limiting plastic waste by using, developing, and exploiting patented, state of the art technologies. The company can custom manufacture high performance polyurethane wear parts, recycle scrap elastomeric wear parts into new parts, and rebuild many worn elastomeric wear parts to meet OEM specifications economically. An innovative, proprietary bonding process makes it possible to create and undetectable bond between substrates with identical or different hardness.
The company currently makes recyclable wear parts for the Oil and Gas Transportation, Mining and Construction industries and is designing polyurethane replacements for various rubber parts. Plastic Parts Research Inc. was conceived in 1986, incorporated in Alberta in 1995, and sells direct locally, and through a world wide distributor in Edmonton called Factory Direct Parts Ltd.
Plastic Parts Research has started 4 rebuilding projects for two major oil and gas pipeline companies from 1996 to 1998 and is engaged in new projects presently. The company works closely with representatives of The Alberta Chamber Of Resources, the Alberta Research Council, the Business Link, and the Edmonton Recycling Society, Every R&D project that the company has initiated has been completed successfully.
