While working with Canada Post Corporation, they became aware of the process development work being done with PWGSC. CPC requested the assistance of Tempest Management Corp, who sub-contracted the work the SMB Consulting, in the development of a project delivery process for construction of standard post offices. The intent was to create a process that could be implemented by any organization across the country in the building of a new post office that would remain consistent with CPC design standards. This process was developed and delivered in 8 weeks as opposed to the contractually committed 13 weeks.

By sub-contracting with Tempest Management Corp into PWGSC, SMB Consulting led a team of joint public and private sector employees in the development of a Project Delivery System for the Real Property division of PWGSC. This project was delivered almost 1 month earlier than anticipated and included the involvement of PWGSC employees from across the country.

Through client recommendation, SMB Consulting was selected to provide process re-engineering assistance to SNC-Lavalin Nexacor. Nexacor was in the process of reorganizing their Project Management team and identified that they required a structured, repeatable process for the delivery of their real property related projects. An extremely agressive schedule was established to coincide with organizational changes and SMB Consulting delivered a complete Project Management process and toolset in 10 weeks with increased, client requested, functionality.
