Radian Corp., a Canadian company located in Oakville, Ontario, established in 1962, is one of the worlds leading designers of quality communication towers and masts for telecommunications, microwave, television, radio, defence, security and other communication applications. Radian Corp specializes in a full range of guyed masts from 0.3 to 4 meter faces, heights up to 700 meters; self-support towers up to 250 meters, and tapered monopole structures up to 48 meters. Radian Corp provides complete turnkey engineering, manufacturing and construction services, and any combination of individual services related to the construction and continuing operation of communication towers and masts. In addition, Radian Corp can supply, install, orient and test all types of antennas and transmission lines.

GENERAL OVERVIEW

Radian Corp has more resources to provide superior service and help our customers maximize the benefits of new communications technology. Our combined product and service offerings now provide a full suite of outsourced network and infrastructure services, that includes structural engineering, tower manufacturing and installation services, voice, data, video and wireless design, system optimization, installation and management.

Radian Corp has successfully completed major telecommunications projects both domestically and internationally. The majority of these projects were performed for, or in concert with, major telecommunications manufacturers such as Lucent, Harris, Alcatel, Ericsson, Digital Microwave Corp., Seimens and Nortel;

fulfilling their contractual commitments to major operating companies such as Cantel AT&T, Ontario Hydro, Bell Cellular, Aramco, OPTUS, MOTP, JRTV, Unitel, Exxon, AT&T Wireless, Nextel, BellSouth, Airtouch, Cox, Western Wireless, etc.

EXPERIENCE

The following are some examples of projects completed by Radian Corp. This list is representative only. A more detailed list can be provided if requested.

Rogers AT&T Wireless (1985 to present)

Radian Corp has assisted in the development of over 1, 200 sites with Rogers AT&T Wireless, since operations began in 1985. Beginning in 1995, Radian Corp became intimately involved in the MW and Equipment Engineering of all Rogers AT&Ts Wireless new site developments. This involved pre-selecting potential sites along with RF Engineering and Real Estate, site acquisition, complete engineering design of MW systems, power plant design, equipment shelter floorplan and rack layout design, equipment requisitioning, installation and test Work Order preparation and issuance, and As-Built documentation. Radian Corp continues to provide Technical Field Services for equipment installation, testing and commissioning as well as tower and site construction.

Radian Corp has also provided to Rogers AT&T in excess of (700) tower structures since 1995. Site development activities have included access roads, tower and antenna installation, site fencing, supply and installation of equipment shelters, MW hop installation and commissioning, power systems and standby generator installation.

To date products and services valued at over $350M have been completed. In addition to site development, Radian Corp maintains Rogers complete terrestrial network of over 2000 sites.

LUCENT Technologies Saudi Arabia (1996 to present)

Radian Corp has provided over 1500 tower structures and site development activities for the DMW, SRS and JMW portions of the TEP-6 master project. These products and services are provided through our JV Company Al-Babtain Radian Corp Telecommunications Services Ltd. Located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

AT&T Wireless ( McCaw Cellular) (1995 to 1996)

Radian Corp was involved in the rollout of the Cellular Digital Packet Data (CDPD) system. The scope of work included site surveys, equipment installations, testing and commissioning of approximately 2, 000 base stations in (12) major US markets. They spanned (17) months.

City of Vancouver (1998 to present, value $165M)

Radian Corp was awarded, along with Ericsson Canada, the design, construction and maintenance of a Public Safety and Public Service Wide Area Radio system for southwestern British Columbia. Commonly known as E-COMM, this is a (5) year project, whereby Radian Corp has sole responsibility for all infrastructure development including site acquisition, zoning, MW and site engineering, electronic equipment installation, testing and commissioning, and overall project management. The system will comprise (70) sites total.

Bell Cellular - Ontario and Quebec

Radian Corp provided, on a turnkey basis, over 600 sites. In fulfilling this contract, Radian Corp carried out extensive building renovations including electrical wiring, flooring, wall construction, heating and air conditioning. We engineered, furnished and installed communication towers, and supplied all equipment beyond the transmitter including combining equipment, receiver multicouplers, transmission lines and antennas. At many sites, we constructed access roads, fencing, buildings, landscaping and hydro service. As well, all antenna systems were electrically tested.

Ontario Provincial Police Telecommunications Project

Design, supply and installation of guyed masts for a province- wide VHF/UHF mobile radio dispatch network and included related civil works. Masts were designed and supplied with capacity for future microwave antennas. Civil works included soil investigations, foundations for masts and building piers, site clearing, leveling, road construction, landscaping and fencing. Radian Corp also supplied, installed and tested VHF and UHF antennas and transmission lines.

The project, which ran from June 1988 to November 1991, involved the construction of 165 towers.

BellSouth de Panama

Radian Corp designed, manufactured and installed (20) tower and rooftop sites for BSC de Panama to support their initial rollout in the Panama City region. Radian Corp worked closely with BSC de Panama providing not only tower structures, but also rooftop grounding system design and material, including installation supervision.
