General Services Administration (GSA) chose an enterprise energy management ('EEM') system from Power Measurement to help cut energy-related costs and improve power reliability across a number of its properties in Washington, D. C., Maryland and Virginia. Initiated by GSA's Energy Center of Expertise, the pilot project uses ION intelligent energy meters and software connected over the agency's internal Ethernet network to arm each GSA building manager with the customized information needed to drive best energy practices and comply with federal energy conservation mandates.
