Phillips Paint Products was founded in 1935 and is a Canadian manufacturer of high performance protective coatings for the railway, agricultural, transportation, electrical and industrial sectors. Phillips manufacture's coatings for the original equipment manufacturers as well as for the refinish and maintenance markets.

Phillips quality system is registered by QMI, Quality Management Institute, a division of the Canadian Standards Association.
Phillips dedicates considerably more financial resources than the industry average to research and development. This commitment has set Phillips apart from many of its competitors, and the introduction of innovative products such as ACRYCOTE are the result. ACRYCOTE, perhaps the first of its kind in North America, is a coating that has the performance characteristics similar to urethanes, but without urethane's isocyanate chemistry.
In addition to ACRYCOTE, Phillips also manufacture's a complete range of industrial coatings, including high build epoxy primers, direct to metal enamels and direct to rust epoxies, water reducible primers and topcoats, and metallic finishes.
November 3, 1997, PPG Canada Inc. has acquired Phillips Paint Products Ltd. as a wholly owned subsidiary. As a result of this acquisition, Phillips is able to expand its current product line by providing both powder and electrocoat technologies to its product mix.
Phillips manufactures coatings in a modern 25000 square foot manufacturing complex in Winnipeg, and distributes through regional warehouses. Products and technical support are available through our technical sales representatives, agents, and industrial dealers in central and western Canada, as well as the upper Midwestern United States.
