This unit is designed for mounting on divers' belts or airtanks. This permits the 1080 Vox Diver Unit to remain submerged even while the diver is floating at the surface with his head out of the water.
The unit produces clear voice communication over ranges up to 3 kilometres.
This unit has an omnidirectional nominal range of 1, 200 metres. Other divers and the surface crew within that range can receive the ultrasonic signal and reconvert it to audio.
The 2000D Diver Unit produces distortion free voice communication comparable to a local telephone call.
The 2000D Diver Unit is approved for use by N. A. T. O., the United States Navy, the Canadian Armed Forces and the RCMP.
This unit employs a transducer mounted on a cable to enable the transducer to be lowered into the water from a dock or over the side of a vessel.
The 2000S Surface Unit produces distortion free voice communication comparable to a local telephone call over ranges up to 3 kilometres.
The 2000S Surface Unit is approved for use by N. A. T. O., the United States Navy, the Canadian Armed Forces, and the RCMP.
Short range-100m-diver communication system employing Digital Signal Processor technology. Very clear, low cost.
Special Diver Unit is a single or dual frequency, long range diver communication system.
At lower frequencies this unit enables communication over ranges up to 10 kilometres.
This unit is designed for long range special operations.
Subphone is a dual frequency communication system with greater power enabling the system to communicate up to 10 kilometres through water.
The Subphone is primarily installed in passenger-carrying tourist submarines, and military and scientific underwater vessels. It is also used for secure communication between surface vessels which do not wish to betray their presence with the emission of radio signals.
Typically, at least one of the frequencies is one of two internationally recognized emergency frequencies to enable navy ships to assist in locating a submersed vessel in distress.
