Okanagan University College, British Columbia, Canada, combines both university level and college level education in one comprehensive institution. Students may begin with preparatory studies and then proceed towards a diploma and ultimately towards a degree credential, all in a seamless continuum of learning.
Okanagan University College (OUC) has strong linkages with its communities and with employment opportunities. Programs are designed with the advice of industry so students are prepared with the skills required in the local and global market place. Cooperative education programs and work/study programs are available to assist students gain work experience before graduation. Many OUC's programs are available through Distance Education. Okanagan University College also designs and delivers custom training projects for the specialised needs of Canadian and international companies and for agencies such as the Canadian International Development Agency.
As a public institution under charter from the government of British Columbia, and with the recognition of many national and international accreditation bodies, OUC offers more than 45 programs, all at the undergraduate level, including:

OUC welcomes international students to all programs and provides extensive support services to assist those from other countries to adjust to living and studying in Canada. Each year more than 500 students visit OUC on study tours. We organise study and recreational opportunities for groups of young people and adults from many countries, and arrange for them to experience Canadian life and culture through living with local families.
OUC is located in the beautiful Okanagan Valley of south central British Columbia, 350 kilometres east of Vancouver and 120 kilometres north of the U. S. A. border. It is known for its friendly, safe environment, mild climate, spectacular mountain scenery and its reputation as the location of Canada's foremost fruit growing, and wine-making industry.
