The OLIN Distance Learning Alliance is a public-private sector partnership that brings over thirty years experience in innovative, scaleable, distance learning solutions. The Alliance works in variety of strategic areas including instructional design, multimedia production and project management with key products and services focused on new media and distance learning courses and programs.
Coordinated by OLIN, an agency which represents a provincial network of public-sector content and service providers committed to the delivery of learning opportunities through technologies, and Operation ONLINE, a private-public organization established to advance and promote the province's IT sector, the Alliance has a depth of experience in the distance learning field.
The Alliance can contribute to all phases of the development of distance learning programs, from setting up the necessary communications, through curriculum design to implementation and ongoing management. The partners can consult with agencies wishing to develop their own distance learning capacity in all aspects of the process from design of programs to management of a learning network.
