Nova Pole International Inc. is a Canadian-owned company which produces and markets tubular steel poles for use in highway and street lighting, traffic signage, electrical distribution systems, transmission towers, cellular towers, telecommunications systems and solar lighting systems.
Nova Pole's product line consists of a wide range of high quality metal poles suitable for a variety of applications. Designs includes single davit, double davit, straight tapered, square tapered, straight square, straight round, octagonal hinge, high mast and transmission poles. Decorative, non-standard and custom designs are also produced by the Company in accordance with customer specifications.
Management believes that its technology allows the Company to produce precision steel poles free of defects in higher volumes and in a more cost efficient manner than would otherwise be possible using traditional methods of production.
Nova Pole also provides customized equipment, training and technology to international customers who desire to establish pole production facilities in their own countries. When feasible, Nova Pole will acquire an equity interest in the ongoing pole production organization.
Nova Pole manufactures and distributes its products from its plant located in Vancouver, British Columbia. This facility consists of approximately 32, 000 square feet of production floor space and ample inventory and storage space. The Company's executive and marketing offices are located close to the plant.
Nova Pole's customers include provincial and municipal government agencies, utility companies and developers located primarily in Western Canada, as well as in the United States and overseas.
