Since 1975, Norwest has continually evolved and developed to meet client needs and the changing demands of the industry. In 1996, Norwest Labs amalgamated with a pioneering lab from the oil and gas industry, Chemical & Geological ( C & G) Labs. C & G had provided analytical and field services to the petroleum industry since 1948. We are now nine locations strong in Western Canada and with three international laboratory locations in Thailand, Turkey Romania and Italy. Norwest is comprised of a team of top scientific experts and is always on the cutting edge of research to better service our clients. Environmental Norwest Labs is very well recognized in the environmental industry. Agriculture Norwest Labs is a full range provider of agricultural and horticultural testing services in our Edmonton, Surrey, Lethbridge and Winnipeg. Digital Imaging Services (DIS) The quality of Norwests data is highlighted when reports are delivered in a clear and understandable format. DIS applications can provide the client with state-of-the-art reports electronically or on compact disc. Data, text, photos and even videos may be included.

To illustrate, a 6, 000 plus page report can be stored on one CD. This reduces sorting time and storage costs, saves paper and eliminates the need for collating and binding.
