Lea & Associates Ltd. and later operated overseas under the name of N. D. Lea International Ltd. from 1987 to the end of 1998. The firm presently maintains offices in Canada, Mexico, Trinidad & Tobago, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Nepal and the Philippines.
ND LEA is solely owned by its senior staff who include engineers, economists and environmental and management professionals specialising in transport engineering (planning, design, construction and project management) as well as institutional development (technical assistance, management systems and training). In Canada, the firm is nationally recognised for highway, bridge and public transport planning and designs, which have established new standards in terms of environmental impact, level of service, cost-effectiveness and maintainability.
In Asian and Latin American/Caribbean markets, ND LEA has gained a reputation for successfully adapting up-to-date technology and standards to a diversity of cultures and socio-economic and environmental conditions.
