Mobiltex Data Ltd. was formed in 1985 and is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and is primarily involved in developing and manufacturing 'solutions' for industrial system applications which require various forms of wireless data or voice/data communications. We are an electronics engineering and manufacturing company with a product line focused generally on industrial mobile data communications systems. The majority of our products are designed to be utilized in the demanding mobile environment. Most of our products are applied in private systems and networks, and are typically custom designed or tailored for the specific application.

Mobiltex Data Ltd. has combined extensive experience in mobile communications with technical expertise in state-of-the-art hardware and software design to produce innovative and cost effective solutions for mobile data and/or voice systems. Emphasis on long-term reliability, ease of use and future expandability have assisted Mobiltex develop a reputation for high quality products in many diverse industries.

All product engineering, electronic design, software development and all manufacturing is done in-house. Mobiltex has worked extensively with radio manufacturers, system integrators, third party vendors, as well as the end-user to ensure seamless integration and implementation of systems. Continual product support and ongoing development can be tailored to each system requirement to maintain system integrity and protect against product obsolescence.

Mobiltex systems are sold primarily in North America with the exception of Mining Systems which are sold world-wide.

The system ensures that field personnel maintain regular contact by sending status messages at selected time intervals from a truck mounted terminal to a dedicated host system computer normally located in the plant control room. Both voice and data configured to coexist on the same conventional radio channel.
