McElhanney was founded in Vancouver in 1910, and the company grew to meet the engineering, surveying, and mapping needs of Western Canada's resource industries, transportation networks, and urban servicing infrastructure. Since 1959 McElhanney has undertaken work in over 70 countries, and has earned the reputation of being able to meet the logistical demands of projects in some of the most remote regions of the world. Our firm is wholly owned by approximately 75 senior employee-shareholders, and has 240 employees, from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, providing services from offices throughout Western Canada and in Indonesia, Peru and Ghana.
