Company Overview
Materiel Impact Network Services (MINS) is a small business entity initially developed to provide a range of services with emphasis on consulting with logistics applications in managing materiel and technological applications (e. g., low cost options in electronic networking and management information systems).
The major portion of my working career was in setting up materiel management operations and departments c/o technological applications (management information systems and general electronic networking (e. g., bulletin board systems).
One award received was an 'honourary membership' the initiator, co-founder and first president of the Canadian Healthcare Materiel Management Association. A key certification is the Certified Professional Purchaser (CPP) through the Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC) in which I also hold membership.
Another key association membership is with the Canadian Health Informatics Association (COACH).
We are currently developing a website/page for the promotion of logistics in materiel management and to provide an electronic forum to bring together practitioners of materiel management and vendors (manufacturers, dealers, distributors, etc.). We will be promoting advertising with vendors and hospitals to generate revenue.
