Many businesses are undergoing profound organizational changes. We are professionally equipped to facilitate these changes at both the macro and micro level. Working with any group or team, at any level of the organization, MacPherson & Styles can help create specific, achievable objectives and plans and strategies to implement them.
Facilitation by MacPherson & Styles can vastly enhance group effectiveness, including that of complex cross-functional teams. Highly effective, hands-on experiential methods aid in the implementation of new concepts and programs. This process allows the direct transfer of group effectiveness and facilitation skills to participants.
MacPherson & Styles believe in making groups effective and enabling them to exploit the appropriate tools and methods. This differs from most currently popular approaches which focus instead on tools and methods.
Our Team Oriented Facilitation services bring to the situation not only methodology, but establish the dynamic, participatory means for the optimum effectiveness of the group problem-solving process.
Mission Critical is a dynamic, experiential workshop designed to transfer in an exciting but safe environment, the principles of business process management and reengineering.
Participants run a small but complete end-to-end business four times. After each business cycle, they assess the performance, identify problems, and apply a simple but highly effective process redesign model to address them.
In this fun but challenging situation, participants learn the key concepts but more importantly, they discover the common pitfalls and the importance of team, structure, and planning. Because it is based on real-life experience, the learning points are indelibly imprinted and participants are ready to apply them the next day.
This dynamic, hands-on workshop is targetted for teams which have been asked to undertake a significant business process reengineering or redesign project.
In two days, the team accomplishes the following:
they learn a simple but flexible and effective reengineering model by applying it to their process, they learn a structured problem solving model and apply it to their process, they begin to form a cohesive and high performing team by practicing the principles of effective teams, they build a workplan which looks out six to eight weeks to a major milestone, they test for commitment and buy-in from team members, sponsors, and leaders.
This Team Quickstart workshop is so powerful, it effectively accomplishes the required training, team launch, and replaces the first six to eight team meetings.
