  Mabarex provides customers with the most suitable solutions for potable water, municipal and industrial wastewater and sludge treatment within prescribed time limits. They carry out turn-key projects and work closely with consulting engineers and contractors both locally and internationally.

  Water treatment: the Oxy. rex system extracts iron, manganese, sulphur and many other contaminants. It is easy to use and eliminates any problem related to colour and turbidity. The coagulation-filtration system on single stage continuous washing sand filters is well-suited to surface water treatment. It operates non-stop without the use of a wash-water pump or of automatic control valves, and requires smaller amounts of coagulants. Automatic sand and anthracite filters use plastic filter bottoms.

  Wastewater treatment: Mabarex has developed a process for the transformation of lactose and wastewater from cheese factories and dairies into animal feed. This system first reduces the pollutant load by 95% for the following set of parameters: BOD/COD/SS. This system can also produce high-quality water for recycling purposes. Mabarex is experienced in treating wastes from the slaughterhouse industry, using floatation, secondary treatment and sludge processing, to ensure clients meet plant effluent limits.
