Presidents Message:
My name is Noorez Devraj and I am the founder and president of Lyna Manufacturing Incorporated. Twelve years ago I was involved in marketing a US-made liquid tire sealant. During the development of this business, I realized the available products in this sector had a number of inadequacies, such as, congealing when exposed to various temperatures, bacterial growth effecting product performance, fibers clogging the valve stem, solvents causing chamber fires, rust problems, tire beads welding to the rim, sealant pooling to the bottom making it difficult for a section repair, etc. Some of these were well known brand names in the low speed tire sector and had sales exceeding $US10 million. In twelve months of extensive testing, none of the available sealants were suitable for the highway trucking fleets. Therefore, in 1996, I had a vision that launched us on a journey. It was a journey in which I engaged with a team of engineers and technicians and started research and development to develop an affordable tire sealant formula. Since we had no idea where to begin, our journey of discovery was an act of faith. We did not know what lay ahead, other than excitement and unpredictability. And we knew that it could be enthralling but would require patience, determination and tenacity. We set out 14 objectives. These objectives were an end result of compiling every problem associated with tires on the white board. We determined that if and when these 14 Objectives were met, we would then have a superior product to lower tire operation costs for commercial and OTR vehicles. Our 14 point stringent criteria was prepared by a team that consisted of former technical advisors of Bridgestone /Firestone Graeme Douglass & Associates, Senior advisor (ITA) from The National Research Council of Canada / IRAP Dr. John Howard, University of British Columbia Professor Emeritus Dr. Ken Pinder, Mr. Ken Gracey of Kal Tire commercial retail and various others from U. S. A, South Africa and Dow chemicals PPG thermo fluids. In short, three years later and close to a million dollars of personal investment, we had achieved our goal and the first Tire Lyna commercial product was produced.
Tire Lyna was also qualified as a ground up technology by the Scientific Research and Experimental Development of Canada (SR&ED).
Lyna Manufacturing's mission is to be a global leader in providing value added solutions, help increase the productivity of our customers and decrease the volume of tires being prematurely discarded into landfills each year.

Tire Lyna represents a technological advancement in that it has resolved traditional rheological problems associated with chemical reaction to tire rubber and rim metals, high speed imbalance, product separation and short term product life. This tire maintenance product not only lasts for the tread life of the tire, but also will significantly increase the fuel economy and safety measures of commercial vehicles.
What Tire Lyna Does Not Do:
NO wheel or tire vibration NO reaction against the tire's components NO voiding of tire manufacturer's warranty NO deterioration over the life of the tread NO drying out or hardening NO separation or 'ballup' NO blocking up valves NO freezing at temperatures above -80 C (-112 F)
Tire Lyna is installed directly into the cavity of a tire and wheel assembly to extend the life of tires and make them safer and more efficient by maintaining tire pressure.
Once installed, the gel is activated by the tire's normal dynamics, including centrifugal force and heat generated by friction between the tire and road surface. This unique gel-based technology maintains constant air volume/pressure in all tires.

Preventing Tires From Leaking Profits
When Ted Campbell finds something that'll save him money and time, he sticks with it. He was ready to buy a new tractor unit until he found out the manufacturer wouldn't allow him to use Tire Lyna to maintain his tires.
The manufacturer contacted Ted's tire retailer who informed the manufacturer Campbell's company has used Tire Lyna for 4 years. 'One of my trucks traveled from Alberta to Vancouver (1000km plus) and delivered a load on time with a small bolt in the tire', says Campbell who runs XX trucks for his company, Pure Water Transport in Langley, British Columbia. Now the tractor unit manufacturer knows about Tire Lyna.
'We've tried many methods to insure our tires had the same pressures, no matter what we did each system only lasted a short time. Finally we tried Tire Lyna. Our costs have dropped by at least 10 times what Tire Lyna costs', adds Campbell.
What makes this product work is the quality checks it had to exceed: prevent or fix small punctures; increase the number of recaps per casing; non-corrosive to rims (both aluminium and steel); inhibit rust; maintain tire balance; maintain its properties despite time, pressure and heat; good for rubber; no effect on tire or retreader's warranties and standards; non-toxic and environmentally safe; easily applied or wiped out - these effects were all planned.
Lyna Manufacturing president Noorez Devraj had many years experience marketing sealants and other products he found unreliable. With a team of engineers, chemists at BC Research, his own savings and 3 years of research, Tire Lyna was developed. The product they worked toward had to achieve 14 points before Devraj was satisfied. (see Test Objectives: http: //www. tirelyna. com/test, objectives. htm )
Art Hebert of Den-Ray Rathole Drilling in Leduc, Alberta is also happy his company found Tire Lyna. 'We started using this product in October 2001. We were trying to correct aluminium wheel and tire air loss. This product immediately solved this problem'.
Tire Lyna users have also found time savings makes this product pay for itself very quickly: decrease breakdowns so trucks stay on schedule and on the road. Instead of expensive emergency repairs, a little preventative maintenance pays off. Then drivers don't have to spend so much time checking tire pressures. Vancouver company shifts into 2nd gear with Chinese army
The People's Liberation Army (PLA) of China has moved up product testing to 10 trucks from one truck with a product from North Vancouver. Tire Lyna maintains tire pressure and permanently repairs tread punctures at full operating speeds and temperatures ranging from -60F to well over 300F degrees.
Lyna Manufacturing Inc. of North Vancouver developed and is marketing their gel liner, Tire Lyna, to trucking companies and a number of other customer types such as construction companies and golf courses where downtime is a critical issue. One Tire Lyna customer says he saves $10 for each $1 of the product he uses on his fleet.
'Customers of this size (PLA) typically prefer to test it on their own vehicles, under their own operating conditions, before moving to full acceptance. Because of the size of the PLA the approval process is slower than truck fleet customers. Other customers find out how effective it is and then just use Tire Lyna to save their tires, ' says Lyna Corporate Development Director Craig Watson. He added, 'Of course, the potential purchase by the PLA is many times greater than some of our larger fleets. It will save them on downtime costs and operating costs.'
Tire Lyna was developed by a team of engineers and chemists assembled by Noorez Devraj, Lyna Manufacturing president, after he saw the problems in commercial tires and the value of a reliable solution. It took over three years to find a formulation that met the Lyna Manufacturing team's original product objectives. http: //www. lyna. com. cn/csjg/cs15. htm
'We started using this product in October 2001. We were trying to correct aluminum wheel and tire air loss. This product immediately solved this problem. Since then we are using the product in all our class 8 trucks rear wheels and also on all trailer wheels. We have found no air loss in these wheels, eliminating most of out of town repairs.' Art Hebert, Den-Ray Rathole Drilling Ltd. 'Tire Lyna...... will provide an added measure of safety by ensuring better tire pressure maintenance ' Ben Mikkelson, Manager, Vehicle Standards & Inspection - ICBC
'Catmandu has been running a fleet of Skid Steer Loaders for over 10 years. Over the years we have tried numerous products pumped into our tires to 'Stop Leaks'. Three and half years ago we began using Tire Lyna. Our downtime due to flat tires has decreased remarkably.' Evan Shindle, General Manager
' We've tried many methods to insure our tires had the same pressures, no matter what we did each system only lasted a short time. Finally we tried Tire Lyna...... Our tire costs have dropped by at least 10 times it's (Tire Lyna) costs. ' Ted Campbell, Owner - Pure Water Transport
'In my opinion no other product..... has the fine tuned rheological and sealing properties to give good performance under a wide variety of temperature conditions and speeds. ' John Howard Ph. D, MC, IC, - National Research Council of Canada/IRAP
' Since using your (Tire Lyna) product, I have had no pressure loss in my tires. ' Craig T, Burnaby B. C.
