Lumacell is Canada's largest emergency lighting manufacturer, offering the broadest range of emergency lighting and exit sign solutions. In excess of 96 percent of all Lumacell products are Canadian designed and manufactured in our 55, 000 square foot plant and head office in Scarborough, Ontario. Implementation of ISO 9001 practices have commenced and certification is expected by the summer of 1998.

In business for 30 years, Lumacell is considered to be among the very best providers of customer service and satisfaction in the Canadian Electrical Industry. Our sales representatives and agents are immersed in an on-going training process which has given them the capability of providing code compliant emergency lighting designs for the most complex of buildings. Our competitiveness is further strengthened by the sourcing of quality raw mateirals from around the globe.

Of special interest in recent years is the range of energy efficient L. E. D. (Light Emitting Diode) exit sign and retrofit products that have come into use in the commercial, institutional and industrial markets. Lumacell, through rigorous design and open-eyed examination of customer's needs, has become Canada's leading manufacturer of LED exit sign products.

Lamacell also manufactures at its Scarborough plant, a complete line of Modular wiring systems for fluorescent and HID lighting. This family of products is called FLEX and is manufactured under licence from AFC, a Monogram Company' of New Bedford, MA.

Lumacell recently acquired the Canadian Distribution rights to Ditek, a full line of transient voltage surge suppression products. With the growing use of electronic based office equipment, protection from internally generated spikes which can cause data loose this is of utmost importance.
