Fatty acid profiles and amounts of mono-, poly-unsaturates, and saturated fates of food products, nutraceuticals, as well as clinical samples from individuals or research groups are performed via capillary gas-liquid chromatography (GLC).
The lab is particularly commercially active in omega-3 ans trans fatty acid determinations. Other specialized work includes quantification of cholesterol (GLC), individual and total phospholipid, mono-, di-, and tri-glycerides. Analyses of other specialized lipids in any biological materials as well as research projects and consultation can be arranged.
