Lauga & Associates are transportation consultants specializing in the ports and marine sector. We have carried out more than 100 Canadian and international projects. We carry out operational analysis, operations research (including computer simulation), project management, economic and financial analysis and management consulting. Work has been performed in Canada, U. S. A., New Zealand, Australia, China, South Africa, Vietnam and many other countries. Our work has included: business plans, market studies, marine terminal development plans, port warehouse designs, computer simulations of port operations, ship voyage costing analyses, facilities rationalization plans, navigation studies, terminal operations optimizations and industrial land development planning. The types of port operations we have worked on includes: bulk terminals, container terminals, general cargo terminals, forest products terminals, marinas and small craft harbours, petroleum terminals, coast guard operations bases, and barge terminals. We are familiar with the requirements of temperate, tropical and arctic environments. We form both small and large consulting groups according to the requirements of the projects.
