LANTEC has been designing and manufacturing custom built winches, gear reducers and brakes since 1965. LANTEC Winches and Hoists range from 10, 000 lb line pull to over 200, 000 lb line pull for hydraulic and electric drive applications. LANTEC gear reducers range in output torque from 5, 000 lb ft, to more than 250, 000 lb ft, and are available as planetary or parallel shaft for hydraulic and electric applications. LANTEC brakes range from holding torque of 1, 000 lb ft, to 30, 000 lb ft. All brakes are wet, multi-disc, fail-safe, spring applied and hydraulically released.
LANTEC, an active member of the American Gear Manufacturers Association, developed an internal Total Quality System, modeled on ISO9001, to make sure we create the most reliable products in the shortest time for the best price.
Our professional engineers and mechanical technologists use the latest programs for gear calculations and advanced equipment for measurement testing. Our programmers, machinists fabricators and fitters work with state of the art equipment in a modern 24, 000 square foot facility.
