Meadow Lake, SK
Throughout Canada and the United States you will find a variety of guest ranches and vacation farms that offer a "getaway". We are not only offering a getaway, in the natural great north-west where lakes and trees abound as do moose, bear and fish... but we can offer more, much more! We offer a certified training program under the Canadian Equestrian Federation (that also offers the world's ONLY standardized western program). We offer 8 Rider Level certifications and Level 1 Coaching programs as well. All are sent directly to you from the Canadian Equestrian Federation. Through our program you can individualize your stay according to what you would like to achieve, be it a horse-trainer, groom, coach, showman, woman. Learn to start young horses or to train horses on cattle for cutting, working cow-horse or roping. All at a reasonable price. We also enjoy having a number of "working students" at all times.
The Acadamy is situated on over 500 acres (over 200hec.) along the Beaver River, just a few minutes south of Meadow Lake National Park. At the park you will find excellent Lakes for swimming, boating and fishing or you can fish for Pickerel on the banks of the Beaver River withn a 5 minute walk. If you are not a fish fanatic, have no worries, our Chef has cooked in some of the best Vancouver hotels for more than 15 years! As-well as a restaurant, we have a saddle shop for your convenience, private and bunk-house lodging and a number of campsites in natural settings.
We would love to have you here! Fax us or write us in English or German ( lessons are offered in both languages) and we can arrange dates to pick you up or a road plan I you plan to rent a car and drive in. We are 3 hours drive from the city of Edmonton, Alberta, 7 hours form Calgary, 3 from Saskatoon and 1 from North Battleford.
