Company Overview
Originally established in 1979, by Darrel Jensen, our firm has grown in the past nineteen years to its present configuration as the Jensen Group Architects Inc. Since its inception, the firm has maintained a commitment to provide clients with design excellence and personal service. The result has been the successful completion of a wide range of building types and a number of design awards.
From our experience in the health care field, we have gained a thorough understanding of the challenges in the design and construction of facilities from all points of view, including those of the regulatory and financing authorities; as well as proponent groups and users. This experience has assisted us in creating design solutions which prevent future operating problems and maximise flexibility for future change and expansion. In the past years the company has undertaken the design of a number of special adult multi-level facilities including the Priory, a 75 bed multi-level care facility and adult day care for the Capital Health Region. Other completed projects include design and construction of health care facilities, adult day care centres, diagnostic and treatment facilities and ambulance stations.
