The company provides a prompt and personal specialist service to senior management and operating personnel in the fields of rock mechanics, mine and opening design, restraint systems and related geotechnical subjects. The majority of our work is in mining method design, opening geometry design, mining sequence, 'in situ' instrumentation, and backfill design for both producing mines and those in the feasibility or development stages. Experience in the above-noted fields of specialization have also been applied to large and small civil projects, both surface and underground.
While the majority of the larger projects have been done for Canadian and international Mining Companies, several projects of a geotechnical nature have been done for government agencies such as the Dept. Of Public Works, the B. C. Dept of Highways, the Washington D. C. Dept. Of Sanitary Engineering and the National Capital Commission.
