Integrated Paving Concepts is the developer and patent holder of StreetPrint Pavement Texturing, a system of products and processes which imprints, colours and fortifies Hot Mix Asphalt to create the appearance of hand-laid brick. The company licenses the use of its technolgy and sells its proprietary tools and surfacing products throughout the world. As of February 1997 there are approximately 300 Licensees in 12 countries. Licensees include Nippon Hodo the leading producer of asphalt in Japan, KWS in The Netherlands, a member of the Volker Stevin Group and one of the leading asphalt companies in Europe, and many leading U. S. asphalt paving contractors.

StreetPrint offers the appearance of hand-laid brick while retaining many of the benefits of hot mix asphalt:

• Speed and Ease of Installation - Reduces labour cost and

customer inconvenience; As much as 10 times faster than bricks to install; Typical cost savings of 40 to 50%;

• Continuous Flexible Pavement - resists water penetration which

can lead to base failure and freeze-thaw damage; resists weed growth;

• Ease of Maintenance - Simple maintenance and very easy to

repair;

• Salt Resistance - Unaffected by salt from deicing or coastal

climates;

• Chemical Resistance - The surfacing products seal and protect

the asphalt from the effects of chemical and UV attack.
