I'Anco Products Ltd. is a privately-owned British Columbia company specializing in the design, manufacture, and sale of heavy duty severe service conveyor chains and sprockets. I'Anco is also engaged in the manufacture of logging rigging fittings for the forest harvesting industry.

Our head office and our two primary operating facilities are located in Surrey, B. C. Highland Foundry, a manufacturing facility, casts all steel parts of conveyor products and logging rigging (wire rope) products. Our design, assembly and storage facilities are located in a new 8, 000 square-foot facility.

I'Anco Products has extensive background in heavy-duty, severe- service materials handling conveyor applications. The flagship of I'Anco's product line is Manganese Steel conveyor chains and sprockets. Manganese chain is available in long link, H-class, C-Class, Rivetless and by custom design.

Manganese steel has the greatest toughness of any steel. Although its as-treated hardness is not much different from mild steel, continuous impact increases the skin hardness tremendously, to a maximum of 550 Brinell.

While acquiring extreme surface hardness under repeated impact, manganese steel will still retain its as-treated toughness, due to the austenitic structure retained after heat treating. This makes manganese very strong and ductile with a tensile strength of approximately 125, 000 psi. The combination of these factors justifies the reputation of manganese.
