  Solid State/0.8-2 GHz

  These class A GaAs FET amplifiers set a new price/performance standard for wide band power and reliability. They offer very high 3rd order intercept point, best harmonic performance in the industry (-25 dBc in-band and -40 dBc outside the band @ P1 dB GCP) and high efficiency and dynamic range.

  Applications include EMC, EW, ECM, communication, instrumentation and intermodulation and device testing. Fully protected outputs enable safe operation into any load mismatch including open and short circuits. Thermal shutdown feature, continuously monitors the base-plate temperature and automatically shuts the amplifier off and provides visual front panel alarm if the base-plate temperature exceeds factory preset limit.

  3 300LFM quiet fans provide sufficient cooling to ensure low junction temperature to guarantee high MTBF.

  This new wideband synthesized test translator, P/N:

  UC-140/1485-003, is part of the ITS growing family of high performance products. It is used as a transmission path simulator for DBS systems and provides a convenient way to accurately characterize these systems. Fully digital compatible, it includes a variable power noise source, adjustable power output from -10 dBm down to -70 dBm and computer controlled frequency selection via RS-232.

  The input frequency range, variable in 10 MHz steps, is 920 to 2060 MHz.

  The spurious signals level is lower than -40 dBc and image rejection is better than -50 dBc.

  The unit is self-contained in a type 2U (3.5' high) housing suitable for 19' rack mount.
