R&D laboratories are equipped with various state-of-the-art equipment including the cell culture equipment, electrophoresis apparatus, HPLC, molecular biology equipment and immunochemistry lab facilities. All research projects are supervised by the research directors and conducted by well-trained technical staffs.
Production facilities are equipped with a highly advanced and automated membrane processing system, assembling machines and other packaging equipment.
The manufacturing processes include three major production lines:
- the biochemical system for monoclonal antibodies;
- the production of five membrane material, including the high
molecule affinity membrane coating and processing;
- the manufacturing and packaging lines.
An independently operated department is responsible for the quality control of the in-process and finished products. When the whole production line is fully operated, the maximum production rate is around 10 million kits per month. The whole manufacturing process and quality control/QA system are followed in the guideline of the ISO9001-2(94).
