Hytec Hydrocarbon Reclamation LTD. was incorporated in Alberta in March, 1994 to develop and operate processing equipment for remediation of hydrocarbon contaminated soils at petroleum facilities and diesel contaminated invert cuttings at drilling sites. Invert drilling wastes pose an expensive and possibly long term problems on drilling sites. This process is cost effective when impossible to transport to landfill or land farming sites excessive.
Hytec's mobile unit is trailer mounted for portability and requires an area of approximately 200 ft. by 100 ft. It is capable of processing approximately 10 tons per hour of contaminated soil, dependent upon moisture, sulfur and petroleum hydrocarbon content.
