GREYLINE INSTRUMENTS INC. manufactures flow and level instruments with non-contacting, ultrasonic sensors. These products are used in a variety of industries, water and wastewater treatment where flow of liquids or tank level require automated monitoring or control. The products are distinct because they monitor level or flow without contacting the materials being measured.

Greyline instruments are distributed or represented by a worldwide network of over 80 independent sales agencies. Main activity is in North and South America and the Pacific Rim. Greyline's primary market is in wastewater treatment systems. Customers include municipalities, heavy industrial plants and environmental service industries.

Main industrial markets are pulp and paper, chemical, mining, textile, petroleum, and food processing industries. Applications range from wastwater flow monotoring to meet environmental regulations, to tank farm automation including level monitoring and control. Municipal markets include water and wastewater treatment plants for flow applications and wastewater influent, effluent, sludge and chemicals, and level applications including pump station level control, and chemical tank recovery.

Greyline products are CSA/NRTL certified and certified intrinsically safe sensors are available with many models. CE labelling and ISO9000 certification is in progress.

• Area-velocity Flow

  AVFM Area-Velocity Flow Meter Measures fluid level and velocity to calculate flow. Includes a submerged ultrasonic sensor installed at the bottom of a pipe or channel. Recommended for wastewater, irrigation water and stormwater flow measurement. Displays, totalizes and transmits.

  OCF-IV OPEN CHANNEL FLOW MONITOR Monitors and totalizes wastewater flow through any flume or weir. Built in data logger stores daily flow reports (daily minimum, maximum, average and total flow). RS-232 and isolated 4-20mA output. Includes non-contacting sensor and watertight enclosure.
