  ThinkProcurement facilitates and controls all of a business' production and non-production purchasing needs. All employees in the organization can browse the product catalog aggregated from the suppliers' individual product catalogs, select items, and submit their requisitions. They can also specify non-catalog products, so that all their purchasing needs are fulfilled from within the system. Once a requisition has been created, the appropriate budget holder is notified by e-mail and can authorize or reject the requisition. After authorization, the products on the requisition are ordered from the supplier via email, fax, XML or EDI, and the financial system is updated with the order.
