Company Overview

  • Wastewater treatment - low cost and efficient wastewater

treatment and solids/liquids separation. This can be supplied on a design/build turnkey basis.

  • Sludge/solids dewatering with conventional mechanical systems

or GREENLINE's 'Baggit' system.

  • Concrete washout plants which recover the constituents of

plastic portland cement concrete for re-use.

  • Oil Skimmers collect free floating oil from water surfaces and

Technology Profile:

The removal of suspended matter (solids) from water, or any liquid, is one of the major goals of water treatment or many industrial processes. Clarification involves: coagulation, flocculation, settling and if needed, filtration.

The key to effective coagulation and flocculation is an understanding of the interaction of individual colloids and the naturally occuring forces which assist in causing their settling to be intolerably slow and even allowing some of them to remain in suspension in the effluent, thus allowing them to escape with its discharge.

Particle growth is achieved as a result of collisions between individual particles, the more concentrated the solution, the more chances for collisions. After each collision the resulting bond between particles can vary in strength from a stable, larger combined particle to one which can be sheared by influent energy, resulting in a return to conditions before the desired collision, i. e., particles which are discrete, dispersed and still in suspension.

Modern technology, such as GREENLINE's, creates conditions which enhance Mother Nature's clarification processes. Thus first costs, operation costs and footprints are reduced.

Products

  • Baggit Systems

GREENLINE'S new 'BAGGIT' system is a low cost simple-to-operate sludge containment and de-watering system suitable for small to medium sludge generators. Time and storage are substituted for higher cost mechanical energy in achieving the desired solids content.

  • Oilskimmers

OILSKIMMERS provide an efficient and cost effective way to capture free floating oil from water surfaces and put it containers. THey operate with a very minimum of supervision.

  • Waste Water Treatment Plants
